About moderator: Ric Ross is a community leader, entrepreneur, artist, and longtime music industry executive. He is the founder and CEO of the Music Education Group (MEG), a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through music, film, and digital media education, and Owner of Big Peach Running Co. – South Fulton, the first Black-owned specialty running store in Georgia. A 37-year veteran of the music business, Ric began his career at the Music Business Institute in Atlanta before working in senior roles at Warner/Elektra/Atlantic (WEA), Reprise, Elektra, Atlantic, Island Black Music, and Capitol Records. Throughout his career, he promoted the music of legendary artists including Anita Baker, T.I., Snoop Dogg, Al Green, Yolanda Adams, and Keith Sweat. In addition to his business and community work, Ric is an avid collector and visual artist. He has been collecting original Blaxploitation film posters for over 30 years and curates exhibitions that celebrate Black cinematic history. His work has been recognized by numerous organizations, including the National Black Radio Hall of Fame, and he has received proclamations from both the City of Atlanta and the City of South Fulton. A frequent speaker, mentor, and advocate, Ric is dedicated to uplifting communities through movement, culture, and education.

Dr. Stephane Dunn: Dr. Dunn is a writer, filmmaker, and professor of film and cultural studies. She teaches at Morehouse College and is one of the co-founder's and first directors of the Morehouse Cinema, Television & Emerging Media Studies (CTEMS) department. She is the author of the book, Baad Bitches & Sassy Supermamas: Black Power Action Films (University of Illinois Press), and the novel Snitchers (2022). Dr. Dunn is a frequent moderator and commentator who has been featured on A & E Network's 'Voices Magnified', E! Entertainment, NPR, and MSNBC. Her essays and commentaries have appeared in a number of publications, including MSNBC.com, Ms. Magazine, Newsweek, The Chronicle of Higher Education, CNN.com., The Atlantic, Vogue.com, and TheRoot, among others. She is the 2016 Eleanor Taylor Bland Crime Fiction Writers of Color Award winner for Snitchers,  the 2020 Finish Line/Tirota Social Impact Screenwriting Competition winner for the screenplay Chicago ’66. Dr. Dunn co-wrote and produced the short films, Fight for Hope (first place BronzeLens Georgia Lottery Lights Action Camera competition) and Mr. Creek’s Move.
